It is intended for use as part of the UMTSS transport system (ZhTU 6Sh112) or any other set of combat individual equipment equipped with a modular system for attaching removable pouches, compatible with the UMTS system (MOLLE, PALS).

Serves for 1 army flask, a plastic flask with a capacity of 1 quart ("NATO") or a combined kettle.
At the top of the pouch is an elastic cord with two spring clips, allowing you to adjust the volume of the neck.
A flask or a combination bowler is fixed in a pouch with a forked sling with a quick-release buckle "fastex".
On the outer surface of the pouch there is a pocket for small items (tablets for water disinfection, matches, etc.) that closes on the textile fastener.
In the bottom part of the pouch there is a hole for water drainage.
