Pouch for 2 AK magazines adjustable on velcro v.2 SPLAV
Pouch for two 30 rounds AK74 or AKM mags. It has a adjustable volume pull and a detachable height-adjustable valve with velcro. It is possible to use a pouches without a valve for quick access to the mags.
- Mounting: UniClick third generation system. Two built-in clips. For attaching to the classical PALS / MOLLE system, two cells are required in width and two to three horizontal rows of cells in height. In this pouch, the clips are narrower (20 mm) for easier installation
- Suitable for M4 stores with MAGPUL® ORIGINAL stitches installed on them
- The pouch was sewn entirely of two layers of Cordura® 500d for strength
- From the main compartment, the pouch looks at a minimum of 5 cm of the magazine height, which is convenient for its removal
- Dimensions are large enough for easy insertion and removal of mags, including the option of placing the lid down
- The cross-section of the pouch is pulled by an elastic cord of large type with adjustable Duraflex® lock. The cord is much stronger than ordinary wide rubber bands, it can be adjusted or completely removed, it is repairable. Due to the tightening, the pouch can even safely hold one or two magazines even without a buttoned up valve
- In the front of the pouch, a piece of plastic is sewed between two layers of fabric. It supports the form of a pouch and greatly facilitates the introduction and extraction of mags. In addition, hard plastic does not give a tightly stretched elastic cord to deform the front wall, which could make it difficult to insert mags inside
- The pouch is fastened with Velcro. Velcro on the pouch itself is longer than on the valve. This is necessary for reliable grip on the entire possible area of Velcro is equally good both for two mags, and for one (because the valve is displaced vertically)
- The valve is fastened with Velcro from the inside to the back wall of the pouch. The seat of fastening can be selected in height, thus the height of the pouches in the buttoned mode (for different types of shops) is regulated. It is recommended to adjust the valve so that the upper edge of the Velcro will coincide with the upper edge of the return Velcro on the pouch while fastening the pouch with two magazines inside. When releasing the valve, you may need an additional tool, such as a metal ruler, which you need to place between the flaps
- The fastened valve is additionally held by a horizontal strap at the top of the pouch, it plays the role of an anti-tearing element. Also, under this line, you can fill the end of the valve to quickly move the pouch into the mode of quick access to the mags, it will not interfere. Both ends of the valve are narrowed for easier siphoning
- In the center of the valve, a 25 mm Velcro is installed on the inside of the valve, allowing you to fold and fasten the valve to yourself, if not in use (quick access to the mags)
- At the edges of the valve from the inside, sewn narrow slings that prevent the angular top of the AKM shops from slipping sideways out of the valve, and also stiffening the edges of the valve
- At the end of the valve is a long (8 cm) hook from the slings with a thickening at the end, for the convenience of unfastening the pouch even in thick gloves
- All sections of fabric and sling are hidden under the seams or edged for reliability and neat appearance
- All Velcro will be sewn in two passes along the perimeter or additionally along the diagonals for reliability
- At the bottom there is an eyelet for water drainage
