Separated modular tactical vest SPLAV

Front-mounted vest based on the MAV 2 Piece vest and X Harness straps from Tactical Tailor®, sheathed with PALS slings for attaching pouches, with anatomical shoulder straps and integrated compartments for carrying 6 mags AK / M4 / VSS / Saiga-12

Vest consists of straps and a discharge panel in the form of two symmetrical panels. All elements are fastened together

Straps:

• The straps are attached to the panels with four adjustable paternal 25 mm Duraflex® fastex with additional adjustment of the length of the sling by three-slot buckles. The straps are fully interchangeable with the straps of the Compact Modular Vest. The extra ends of the lines are folded and tucked under the rubber ring.
• Straps anatomically smoothly curved shape without corners, tight to the shoulders, do not rub the neck, well distribute the load
• Straps are a Cordura® 1000d fabric, 4 mm semi-rigid foam and Air Mesh ventilated lining. The most loaded knots (buckles of straps, a handle for evacuation, half rings) are stitched through all layers for durability
• Lanyards attaching the straps to the platform form a force frame, continuing along the surface of the straps, intersecting X-shapedly on the back
• The handle for evacuation, is sewed under slings of the power framework playing a role of an anti-detachable element
• On each shoulder from above on 2 wide elastic bands for fastening of a tube of drinking system or wires
• On each shoulder in front of the semi-ring for attaching equipment
• On the straps, instead of the usual PALS cells, a special "even-odd" system is used, which allows to install pouches symmetrically in the center of the platform, regardless of the parity or oddness of the pouch fastening. Slings 20 mm wide, stitched completely over each other with a small gap to facilitate installation. Every second sling has bartacks laterally offset by half the width of the PALS cell relative to the first sling: on the back of 2 horizontal rows of lines 4 or 5 PALS cells wide; on the front side of the straps are 3 horizontal rows of slings of 1 or 2 PALS cells in width. Front slings are additionally sheathed with Hypalon heavy-duty material (similar to Cordura® 1000d fabric, laminated on both sides with synthetic rubber) to prevent the butt plate from sliding along the strap

Platform:

• The PALS slings on the platform are sewn in the classical way (with a gap between the horizontal rows wide of the slings), the hinge of ALICE pouches is impossible
• The panels are quite compact, each has 3 horizontal rows of lines in height and 8 PALS cells in width
• The panels are a sandwich of two layers of Cordura® 1000d fabric with 2 mm stiff foam inside to maintain shape and load distribution.
• Front fastener on two sewn non-adjustable 25 mm fastex
• The panels are attached to the straps with four 25 mm Duraflex® mother fasteners. Platform fully interchangeable with Compact Modular Chestpiece
• A belt of 50 mm wide slings, fastens with an adjustable 50 mm fastex, double-slot buckle for fixing the adjustment and retaining the extra end of the slings. Fastex is located on the right side, so that under the left hand there are no interfering parts, which is convenient for the right-handed when hanging pouches on the belt (for example, dumping mags)
• On the wrong side of the panels, flat pockets are sewn across the entire area, the entrance is fastened on top with a long velcro fastener, and along the edge of the entrance there are loop-snaps from the sling for easy opening. Inside there are three cells of 50 mm gum for small things. Also, this pocket can be used to carry six mags (AK / M4 / VSS / Saiga-12, etc.), for which the store is inserted into an elastic cell, and the clasp in the kit is put on the corresponding pair of loops, usually used in shingles. If the pocket is not used for carrying stores, it is recommended to remove all the fasteners, as they prevent access to the pocket
• In the kit there are removable adjustable fasteners of 4 mm elastic cord and grip, pressing on top of the mag (6 pcs.). To extract the mag, it is necessary to take the grip to the side. The length of the cord is adjustable with a clamp. Hypalon material tweeter that prevents grip from slipping relative to the magazine and fingers. The grip is Y-shaped (forked to the bottom) for use with AKM mags, because of their strong curvature, the usual grip can slip off the magazine cover too tilted, so the split portion of the grip is put on the upper corner of the mag, ensuring reliable retention
• On the lower edge of each panel there are removable loops (6 pcs.) For attaching pistol / discharging belts. Compact single-slit buckles are sewn onto the vest - thus, if the loops are not used, there are no unnecessary interfering elements. The loop is a simple piece of a slings with a double-slit buckle sewn to it, achieving high reliability (there are no breaking and freezing buttons and dirty and worn velcro) and adjustment for belts of any width and thickness. The correct way to install loops is shown in the photographs in the catalog.
