Spandex (lycra, elastane) is a thin but highly durable synthetic polyurethane fiber obtained from petroleum refining. Invented by DuPont. The fiber is based on polyurethane rubber, which makes it very extensible. After removing the load, the stretched fiber instantly returns to its original size.

These properties of spandex, combined with the softness, lightness and breathability of cotton, make T-shirts made from the blended fabric that are durable, elastic and extremely pleasant to wear.

It is easy to care for products made of mixed fabric, as they practically do not wrinkle and are easy to iron.
